Born out of a passion to revive a culinary gem hidden in the annals of history, The Greedy Potato was conceived with the mission to resurrect Eurasian cuisine—a 400-year-old cultural tapestry often overlooked in the diverse landscape of Asian flavours.

 

Rooted in the colonial past, Eurasian cuisine emerged as a result of intermarriage between Portuguese, Dutch, and British colonial masters and local Asian women. Faced with the challenge of recreating European dishes with the limited ingredients of their newly settled territories, a unique fusion was born.

 

This amalgamation of European cooking and seasonings, intertwined with local Asian techniques and ingredients, gave rise to a distinctive cuisine that became a hallmark of harmony between East and West.
